Tales & Tails at Dogs Trust, Shoreham

We at Dogs Trust Shoreham will be hosting a very special “journey of the imagination” event for you: a “Tales & Tails” evening!

We’ll be joined by Storyteller Fleur Shorthouse for an evening of traditional local stories, myths & legends on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 from 5.30pm.

Fleur is a Storyteller of 20 years’ experience and captivates her audience via oral adult storytelling of folktales from across the region.

Make sure you join us for an entertaining and inspiring evening for the whole family, which will include a glass of bubbly (alcohol free for children), light refreshments and a VIP tour of our rehoming centre (which is where the “Tails” come in!).

Tickets are £5 per adult and £2.50 for children and need to be purchased up-front by contacting Dogs Trust Shoreham’s Supporter Relations Officers Pia Offord & Lisa Herbert at tel. 01273 466 971 or email & Tickets include event entrance, a glass of bubbly (alcohol free for children) as well as some light snacks. Please be aware that this event has a limited number of tickets available and ticket sales is operated at a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event is hosted to collect vital funds for the local Shoreham rehoming centre – and all sales for this evening will go fully towards the centre.

We are the UK’s largest dog charity, caring for over 15,000 dogs every year at our nationwide network of rehoming centres. We never put down a healthy dog, but do our best to find loving, permanent homes for all our residents. Here at Shoreham we look after over 350 dogs a year and have around 70 dogs in our care at any one time – which we could not do without the amazing support of the local community!
