Perfect Puds and Delectable Desserts at Ashdown Park Hotel
Calling all sweet-toothed sugar-seekers, luxury countryside hotel and country club Ashdown Park in East Sussex will once again be hosting a dessert-lover’s delight this April with the first Pudding Club dinner of 2016.
A perfect occasion for all those who relish the chance to indulge in a perfect pudding, the dinner will take place on Saturday 16th April at 7.00pm for £45 per person.
The evening will begin with a set starter and main course of smoked salmon and crème fraiche with watercress and spring onion followed by beef shin served with parsnip and blue cheese crumble.
Once the opening courses have been enjoyed, the real business of the evening can begin – pudding. The desserts will be prepared and served by Ashdown Park’s head chef Andrew Wilson and guests at the event will get the opportunity to meet with Andrew as he presents his creations to the room.
Diners will have the opportunity to totally treat themselves with a selection of four puddings including much-loved classics such as steamed jam sponge with custard, banoffee pie and black forest gateau. Once the desserts have been tried, tested and enjoyed guests can crown their favourite by voting for their ‘pudding of the night’.
