Visit Santa at Winter Wonderland

Enjoy the magic and enchantment of Christmas at Drusillas Park (near Brighton) between Saturday 18th November and Monday 1st January with their dazzling Winter Wonderland. Check out the various Christmas events happening at Drusillas:

Santa in Winter Wonderland

Santa’s Christmas Cottage – Visit Santa
Saturday 18th November onwards (weekends only)
Thursday 14th – Saturday 23rd December (daily)

No festivities would be complete without the star attraction, and visitors to Drusillas will not be disappointed as Father Christmas makes a welcome return to the zoo. For an additional charge, children can meet Santa in his cosy Christmas Cottage and receive an early Christmas gift! Visitors can see Santa during weekends from the 18th November and then daily from 14th to 23rd December inclusive.  *Please note tickets can only be purchased at Drusillas, on the day. Santa tickets are not available in advance.

The Cottage is open 10am – 4.30pm (last admission to the Park at 4pm). You will not be able to join the queue after 4pm without a ticket and the queue line will close at 4.30pm, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.


Winter Wonderland Illuminations

Saturday 18th November – Monday 1st January

Drusillas Park are switching on the Winter Wonderland Illuminations once again! The dazzling display will be turned on at 10am daily with the official Light Show starting at 4:30pm – when the magical wonderland scene will come alive as it synchronises to music. Young revellers can expect to see a whole host of magical creatures in the ice-capped kingdom, adding some extra sparkle to the festive season.


Hug a Husky in the ‘Ice Cave’

Husky Ice Cave
Weekends from Sat 18th Nov onwards. Daily from 14th – 23rd December

  • On 14th, 15th, 18th & 19th the huskies will be here 1-5pm
  • On all other days the huskies will be here 10:30am-5pm

Back by popular demand, visitors will have the opportunity to hug a husky at the zoo. The two cuddly canines will be meeting visitors in the Ice Cave; you’d be barking mad to miss it.


The Hello Kitty Parlour

Pop into The Parlour for festive tattoos and the opportunity to have your face painted as a reindeer, a fairy or even a Christmas pud! The Parlour will be open weekends from November 18th, and then daily from the 20th December for the East Sussex Christmas school holidays.

Get into the spirit of Christmas with a seasonal glass of mulled wine and yummy mince pies! You can also enjoy warm fresh doughnuts all available from Station Buffet, next to the Safari Express railway.
