Digby Fine English announces the opening of their exquisite new Tasting Room in Arundel, West Sussex

England’s first negociant, Digby Fine English, has officially opened its doors to the Digby Fine English Tasting Room in the heart of Arundel, West Sussex. Located steps away from the historic and beautiful Arundel Castle and a few minutes from where the wine is made, the new brand home is set to host, educate and entertain customers from around the world. English Wine Country is on the doorstep to London and Arundel is the perfect setting-off point for a day out or a long weekend. As Digby Fine English continues to be an innovator in the English wine category, this new addition will allow more visitors and Digby enthusiasts to experience the renowned British brand.

The Tasting Room offers an elegant and superlative space in the mode of Digby’s living room overseen by the brand’s namesake Sir Kenelm Digby. It features Digby’s well-travelled tasting counter and a more exclusive Members’ Room for up to 10-12 guests. Every detail of the new space has been artfully curated and customised by Co-Founders, Trevor Clough and Jason Humphries, together with interior designer Emma Wood.

Trevor Clough, Co-Founder & CEO, says: “Arundel is the gateway to the South Downs National Park and the capital of English Wine Country, and hence, the perfect seat for the home of our band of fizzing upstarts. We wanted this to be a space that matches the elegance and energy of our house style, as well as the exuberance and abandon of our brand. Our goal is nothing less than to help put the English sparkling category on the world map. If you love wine and adventure, please pay us a visit!”

Digby Fine English is truly leading the charge in transforming English fizz into an internationally desirable category. Digby achieves racy yet sophisticated house style through the refined art of blending, using grapes grown by its meticulously groomed partner vineyards in the chalky soil of Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset. The brand has won an extensive array of trophies and accolades for its range, with its flagship wine 2010

Vintage Brut winning Gold at the UK Wine Awards along with the ‘Most Outstanding Classic Style’ trophy, Leander Pink NV Brut just won Gold / 95 Points at the International Wine Challenge and Non Vintage Brut won Platinum / 97 Points in Decanter World Wine Awards.
