An all new musical storytelling extravaganza to celebrate 40 years of Ronda and David Armitage’s The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch will be performed at The Hawth on Wednesday 31 May.

The delightful heart-warming children’s tale has been beautifully adapted and brought to the stage by Pied Piper Theatre Company.

For lighthouse keeper, Mr Grinling, lunch is the highlight of the day, but Mr Grinling isn’t the only one who enjoys the delicious food it seems some greedy seagulls keep stealing his lunch!

Can Mrs Grinling come up with an ingenious plan to make sure the lighthouse keeper gets his lunch? Join Mr and Mrs Grinling and Hamish the cat for an exciting visual delight inspired by the much loved children’s story.

The Pied Piper Theatre Company specialises in new writing for young children and were last seen at the Hawth in December with their popular adaptation of Burglar Bill.

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch is aimed at children from three years old and their families and friends, it is packed with live music, audience participation, and all the sights and sounds of the sea.
