SAVE THE DATE! OPEN DAY AT BRANCHING OUT ADVENTURES FOR LOCAL CHARITY
Tree top attraction, Branching Out Adventures, and Embers Camping located at Bentley Country Park, near Uckfield, are hosting an ‘open day’ of the entire attraction area for charity in May.
The family open day, on Sunday 13 May, will include full access to all that Branching Out Adventures offers, to include high and low ropes course, the adrenalin fuelled giant swing and zip wires galore. In addition neighbouring Embers Camping is offering wood-fired pizzas and drinks, tent building competitions, bush craft displays, face-painting and much more. Entrance is just £20 a family (2 adults and 2 children) or £6 per person – with all the proceeds going to Demelza Hospice Care for Children.
Mark Oakden of Branching Out Adventures said: “We feel very strongly that it is important to give back to our community. This is a wonderful opportunity to support Demelza Hospice while enjoying a fabulous day out at two of Sussex’s great attractions.”
Julie Brett, community fundraiser, Demelza Hospice Care for Children, said: “I’m so thrilled that our charity has been chosen to benefit from this marvellous fun day. The money raised will enable our charity to provide specialist care and emotional support for children with terminal conditions and their loved ones. We hope that lots of families come along to enjoy the day, knowing that they’ll be helping families across East Sussex. I don’t know of anywhere else where a family of four can be entertained and have refreshments for just £20 for a whole day!”
Murray McPherson of Embers camping said: “It’s great we can collaborate with our neighbours for a good cause. Please spread the word so we can get as many people as possible to join us on what promises to be a fantastic day and worthy cause.”
The day runs from 10am to 4.30pm with last climbs, zips and swings at 3pm. For more information or to book tickets in advance visit: www.branchingoutadventures.co.uk
