Jilly Goolden to host wine weekend at Ashdown Park Hotel
Taking place on Saturday 3 June to coincide with English Wine Week, the special overnight break will begin with a private tour around Bluebell Vineyard, home to the award-winning range of Hindleap English sparkling wines, followed by a private tasting at the vineyard itself.
Guests will return to the hotel for an exclusive wine pairing dinner hosted by renowned wine expert Jilly Goolden. The dinner will include three courses prepared by Ashdown Park Hotel’s executive head chef Andrew Wilson, accompanied by some of the finest wines from around the country.
The English Wine Weekend package including tour and tasting at Bluebell Vineyard, hosted dinner with Jilly Goolden and one night’s accommodation with breakfast is available from £240 per person.

Ashdown Park will also be offering a wine and cheese evening on Friday 2 June, introduced by English wine specialist Alan Jenkins who has over 50 years’ experience in the wine world. The event is available to book for £25 per person including all food and drink and an in-depth talk from Alan Jenkins, with overnight stays available from just £87.50 per person, based on two sharing.
The cheese and wine evening and English Wine Weekend break can be combined for a two-night break, from £352.50 per person.
