Hotel du Vin unveils EGGstravagant crème egg brownie ready for Easter
Hotel du Vin has unveiled an eggscellent new addition to its famous Afternoon Tea in celebration of Easter.
The Easter inspired brownie will be the crowning glory of Hotel du Vin’s popular Afternoon Tea for the month of April. Available for a limited time only, the ‘Cadburys Crème Egg Brownie’ is the perfect treat for a true chocolate lover.
Matt Powell, Chef Director at Hotel du Vin, commented: “For me Easter is about getting together with family, creating great memories and indulging a little. I wanted to create something a little different that people can share with their friends and family over Easter.”
The Afternoon Tea itself features a creative selection of mini sandwiches and savouries, from Severn and Wye smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, to ham with Gruyere croissants and goat’s cheese and spinach quiches. This is followed by the traditional scones with cream and jam, and all topped off with a choice of sweet treats including rhubarb and custard doughnuts and homemade apple candy floss.
As well as an impressive selection of tea infusions created for Hotel du Vin by renowned tea connoisseurs Twinings, the boutique hotel has partnered with ‘best in class’ Fever-Tree to offer the perfect Gin & Tonic as an accompaniment to this British favourite. The menu features a selection of hand-picked gins, each perfectly paired with its own tonic.
