Get together for an indulgent Afternoon Tea at Malmaison Brighton

Afternoon Tea Week, 8th – 14th August

Afternoon tea is as British as a rainy summer, fish and chips and Morris Dancing – so perhaps it’s no surprise we dedicate a whole week to celebrating it. Luckily that week is here, and what better excuse to enjoy this indulgent tradition?

Boutique hotel Malmaison has introduced four new tasty Tea packages – each of which includes a delicious gluten free option.

Choose from:

The Classic Cream Tea, featuring plain and fruit scones, clotted cream & strawberry jam, lemon & polenta cake and salted chocolate brownie with your choice of speciality teas, all from £10.

Or, try our tantalising Afternoon Tea. Start with an impressive selection of savouries that includes mini burgers and hot smoked salmon and crème fraiche wraps. Finish with indulgently sweat treats, like the strawberry and vanilla pavlova, the salted chocolate brownie, a lemon and polenta cake, the rhubarb and custard trifle, and a strawberry milkshake. All served with your choice of speciality teas, from just £17.50.

For a truly decadent experience, why not upgrade to a Champagne Afternoon Tea and enjoy a glass of Mumm NV Champagne (from £25pp) or Mumm Rose Champagne (from £27pp).

And for something a bit different? Introducing the Cocktail Afternoon Tea, where you can chose from an array of expertly prepared cocktails with your tea. What better excuse to sample Malmaison’s Orange Brulee – with Disaronno, Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Hennessy VS, cream and chocolate dust – or the Nutty 43, a perfect blend of Tia Maria, Frangelico, Licor 43 and cream.

All of Malmaison’s decadent Afternoon Teas are available gluten free.
