CRAWLEY CIRCUS FESTIVAL & KETTLE OF FISH
From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 August The Hawth grounds and foyer will be awash with circus enthusiasts coming to Crawley for a weekend of workshops, shows and games that will entertain and enthrall all from the already initiated to absolute beginners as part of Crawley Circus Festival. This year’s theme is ‘Post Apocalyptic’ so those coming along are invited to dress up for the occasion.
Come for the day or take advantage of the fully inclusive weekend ticket which includes: camping, all workshops and shows (including Kettle of Fish), plus it means you won’t miss any of the fun. On Saturday 20 August, 7pm Kettle Of Fish returns to The Hawth. Now in its 23rd year the Festival presents an old style variety cabaret show featuring the best of human circus. Expect comedy and more in this wild and the wacky show. Be prepared to be amazed by lightworks from Feeding The Fish, ping pong juggling and card manipulation with Rod Laver, Jess Love will delight with hoops and skipping skills, Britain’s bendiest woman, Claudia Hughes will amaze with her incredible contortions, while Simon Riccio will leave your head spinning on the German Wheel and the Kundrotas Brothers come to Crawley direct from Lithuania. All hosted by the internationally acclaimed comedian and juggler Jon Udry.
